Installing NS-2 On Ubuntu 2.34

Initially I too felt difficulty infact i spend whole week 4 it.Thanks to many helping hands for installing it especially to Emin Gecnipar 4rm Turkey who spend a whole mid night wid me to debug the errors.

But after that i got some new ways o install ns2 and this was much easier.And this ppm is maintained by wouterh and due to his support it becomes easier

Installing NS2 on ubuntu is very much Easy

It is easiest in ubuntu 9.10

Steps To Install NS2 in UBUNTU 9.10

Type The following Commands:-

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wouterh-2.34

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install ns

sudo apt-get install nam

sudo apt-get install xgraph

There is no need to install TCL-TK

As Ubuntu 9.10 already provides tcl tk.

So we need 2 install only ns,nam,Xgraph
